The Client

This was the brief given by the managing director at Cherry Hill, India’s leading Corporate Interiors company.

Initially founded in 1987, Cherry Hill had grown from a start-up firm to a limited company with offices in all major cities around the country. Their current website was woefully ineffective and the firm was looking to overhaul their online presence.

The Research

They wanted a website that would in equal parts, highlight their Corporate Culture as well as their Portfolio.

However, they didn’t just want another stark minimalist interior design website. It had to be different and authentic.

The Inspiration

Instead of actually designing the interiors, Cherry Hill specialised in executing the designer’s vision. Their strength was in crafting a perfect finish and giving life to the idea the designer had come up with.

Taking inspiration from Weaver birds, commonly found in India, we realised that these little marvels of nature emobied our “Crafting with Care” concept perfectly.

The Solution

We carefully selected specific images that highlighted each aspect of the company from the way they interacted with their clients to their internal corporate working culture.

Combining full width cover images with a tagline slider, allowed us to effectively communicate Cherry Hill’s brand messages.

In contrast to the cover images, the rest of the site including the project pages were carefully arranged on a 12-column grid with concise content sections to enable the user to easily scan through the content.

The RESULTS

As expected, visitor numbers shot up exponentially to thousands of new visitors every month.

More importantly, visitors started contacting them much more frequently with 10 to 20 forms being submitted every day.

The website was also nominated for several International Web Design Awards.

This gave the brand some much needed international visibility.
